Security features with authentication elements on tobacco products
On this page you will find examples of safety markings used in the Swedish market. The page will be updated. There may be security labels on the market that are missing on this page. The safety markings must meet the requirements of our regulation (HSLF-FS 2019:4) on safety marking.
Three of the authentication elements on the security feature are explained and highlighted. These elements are visible by the naked eye or by magnification.

2. Colour-changing-ink. Authentication element that changes colour when you look at it from different angles. It changes from golden to colourless when you wiggle the security feature. | |
3. Microprint. Extremely small text that requires magnification to be readable. Written in CAPS without spaces or punctuation: AUSTRIAFINLANDSWEDEN. |
